Bill's porch
Front porches are wonderful. I have always been attracted to the social opportunities they offer. Our residence is windowless to the street. This pleasant sitting area, with the shade of Palo Verde trees and a natural desert setting, is where I read the paper many mornings. Just 20 feet from our mailbox, it also has been a nice place for neighbor-to-neighbor chats..
