Modern Phoenix's Home Tour 2014
The docents for this year’s Modern Phoenix Home Tour met in this home (designer/architect unknown) to prepare for the sellout crowd of midcentury home enthusiasts. They chose an excellent gathering location within our local Beverly Hills-like neighborhood formally known as Clear Water Hills. Though an HOA, this particular HOA is quite unique and one-of-a-kind with eclectic collection of home aesthetics.
A representative of SMOCA mentioned the tour sold out in 15 minutes. If you've seen a stack of post cards promoting the event in some of our midcentury antique and modern furniture stores along Camelback Road or 7th Avenue, they could very well have been placed there by me. This is how I helped the modern cause this year.
Of course there are a week of related lectures and events, even if you will not be participating in the home tour. www.modernphoenix.net
