Frank’s local materials

This April, I enjoyed greeting folks to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boomer House during the annual Modern Phoenix Home Tour. Natural Stone and natural gray concrete walls support much of the perimeter of this home. Locally gathered stone (right from the site most likely) and locally mixed concrete. I imagined this “stone rubble masonry” appearance in my sketches of the “Tallus Snails’ hillside property”(located in our website section "our designs") .

LOCAL NATURAL! Architecture does not get better than that.
